The Northwynd Condos offer nice units with attached garages underneath. These are townhouse style condos. These vary from 1 to 3 beds. They are built in a bit of a neighborhood style rather than blocks of buildings and it adds charm to whole community. Some units front the river although Beaches restaurant, McMenamins Brew Pub, and an office building are across the street between the river and these units. These are fairly large sized units for the price as well, but they all have at least one set of stairs many have two flights of stairs. Northwynd was completed in 2001. Local News: 

A 0.92 acre lot in the SW Corner of the Northwynd Condo neighborhood is in the permitting process with the City for a townhouse development. This project will be a positive benefit to the area, but will have a negative impact on some Northwynd units that are currently enjoying a view of the Columbia River. This project has a high probability of breaking ground in the next 12-18 months.

Update March 3, 2021: Construction is underway on the 0.92 acre townhome development.
