Uptown Vancouver is an eclectic mix of several neighborhoods including Hough, Arnada, and Mid-Town. The latter is a loose reference to the area between Mill Plain and McLoughlin. The “Urban” portion of this area is largely relegated to the Broadway, Main Street, and Washington Street corridors through Uptown Village. Once off those three streets the neighborhoods are mostly vintage homes, Craftsman, Victorian, Queen Anne, etc. These are those classic Norman Rockwell neighborhoods with mature trees and the old school street grid, alley in the back type stuff. Even the single family homes in this area are still very walkable and the proximity to downtown and uptown village qualify this as ‘Urban Living’.
